Defence Ministry Prepares Slovakia's Pavilion at IDEX 2025 Expo

Bratislava, January 18 (TASR) - The Defence Ministry is preparing to present Slovakia's defence products at IDEX 2025 expo in Abu Dhabi, having concluded a contract worth at least €62,000 for the design of the Slovak pavilion, Defence Ministry spokesperson Michal Bachraty has told TASR. "The main aim of this expo is to present capabilities of the Slovak Armed Forces and the entire defence portfolio as well as to demonstrate our readiness to meet international commitments stemming from the NATO membership. Of course, an equally important aspect is to support the defence industry of the Slovak Republic, with an eye towards raising awareness about the Slovak defence technologies and to support exports of defence products," said Bachraty. The Slovak exhibition is due to feature mobile howitzer EVA M2, mobile automated mortar and virtual simulator of land and airforce vehicles. IDEX 2025 in slated to be hosted by Abu Dhabi in February 17-21. mf/lin
