Police: Primary School Student in Hranovnica Threatened Teacher with Death

Hranovnica, January 22 (TASR) - A primary school student in the village of Hranovnica, near Poprad (Presov region), allegedly threatened a teacher with death, with the threats coming from a 15-year-old boy during class, as reported by the Presov Regional Police Directorate on social media on Wednesday evening. "This student was detained and restricted in his personal freedom by a patrol from the Hranovnica Police Station," the police stated. No injuries occurred during the incident. Meanwhile, another criminal complaint was received on Wednesday, this time on suspicion of approving a criminal act. "The person suspected of committing this offence has been restricted in his personal freedom," the police added. The case was brought to the attention by the tvnoviny.sk portal, which reported that the father of one of the students threatened in the hallways of a school in the village of Huncovce (Presov region), that he would "kill everyone" and also approved of the attack by a student at the secondary school in Spisska Stara Ves (Presov region).
