Pezinok, January 29 (TASR) - The judge presiding over the preliminary proceedings of the Specialised Criminal Court (STS) in Pezinok (Bratislava region) has released Daniel B. (name abbreviated due to legal reasons), prosecuted for extremism, from custody, STS spokesperson Katarina Kudjakova said on Wednesday, adding that the decision is not yet final and that the Supreme Court will decide on the prosecutor's complaint on February 6. According to the spokeswoman, the judge found that the prosecution was justified, but didn't find grounds for custody. "Therefore, the possible decision on the substitution of custody of the accused wasn't even considered, although a guarantee of a trustworthy person, a written promise, as well as a proposal to order supervision by a probation and mediation officer were offered," she added. Three international arrest warrants were issued against Daniel B. on suspicion of committing several extremism crimes. He was escorted from the United Kingdom to Slovakia on Tuesday, January 28 under tight security measures. am/mcs
