Bratislava, January 30 (TASR) - International tourism and gastronomy fairs ITF Slovakiatour and Danubius Gastro opened in Bratislava's Incheba exposition hall on Thursday. ITF Slovakiatour, focused on promoting tourism, features a complete representation of all Slovakia's regions for the first time this year, with some 80 exhibitors from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Cuba, Hungary, Poland, Slovenia and Tunisia taking part in the event as well, TASR has learnt from Incheba. The two fairs will last until Saturday (February 1). "A new feature of the fair this year is the dominant position of Slovak tourism, presented by the main partners of the fair, namely the Tourism and Sport Ministry and national tourism promotion organisation 'Slovakia Travel'," said Incheba. State-run forestry company Lesy SR and Military Forests and Estates will present opportunities for tourism and leisure at the fair. Foreign countries represented by commercial entities will offer travel opportunities throughout the world. Over 100 exhibitors from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Austria and Italy are represented at Danubius Gastro. The main partner of the fair is the Agriculture Ministry, which will present its activities and the ranges offered by domestic food producers at a separate stand. "The exhibitors will present a wide range of food and beverages at the fair, such as dairy and meat products, fish, vegetables, pastries, coffee, beer, wine, syrups and juices, food ingredients, semi-finished products, etc. A popular small brewery zone, showcasing a diverse range of beers from Slovak and Czech craft breweries, will once again be included," added the fair's organiser. ko/df
