KDH: Implementation of Deal with LOZ Could Worsen Accessibility of Health Care

Bratislava, January 30 (TASR) - If a bill stemming from a deal the Government clinched with the Doctors Labour Union (LOZ) is passed, it might put the accessibility of health care in jeopardy, warned MP Peter Stachura (KDH), who pointed out to risks carried by the plan to shorten week working times for health professionals in hospitals and the introduction of personnel quality norms. Because of this, Stachura urged Health Minister Kamil Sasko (Voice-SD) to reconsider the wording of the legislation. mf
