BRIEF: Premier Seeks Agreement on Foreign Policy Theses for Debate in Parliament

Bratislava, February 4 (TASR) - Premier Robert Fico (Smer-SD) has proposed addressing current foreign policy issues at regular meetings between the three top constitutional officials, with an alternative to this being to agree on foreign policy theses for discussion in Parliament, TASR learnt from Fico's statement after a meeting on the direction of foreign policy at the Presidential Palace on Tuesday. The premier emphasised that Slovakia can only address current challenges within the framework of its EU and NATO membership, which he described as untouchable.
