Bratislava, January 15 (TASR) - With an annual headline inflation rate of 3.9 percent in January 2025, core inflation stood at 2.7 percent, while net inflation amounted to 2.5 percent, the Statistics Office reported on Monday. In monthly terms, core inflation stood at 0.9 percent, while net inflation was 0.5 percent. Core inflation monitors price growth excluding the impact of changes in regulated prices (such as energy prices) and other administrative measures (such as tax adjustments). Net inflation is core inflation without changes in food prices. ko/df
