Opposition MP Jurik to Leave for Ukraine on Sunday

Bratislava, February 22 (TASR) - Opposition's MP Beata Jurik (PS) will travel to Kiev on Sunday (February 23) to mark the third anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, at the invitation of a group calling itself United for Ukraine, TASR learnt from Tereza Mikacova of PS press department on Saturday. "During the two-day visit, together with thirty representatives of foreign and European committees from the entire EU we'll meet with the chair of the Ukrainian Parliament and Cabinet ministers. We'll also attend the 2025 Yalta European Strategy conference," claimed Jurik. She added that the visit is symbolic and an evidence that a united Europe continues to stand behind Ukraine. mf
