Bratislava, February 28 (TASR) - The coalition currently has the de jure support of 77 MPs, coalition Voice-SD party leader Matus Sutaj Estok stated in response to a declaration of support for the government by the four MPs around Rudolf Huliak (independent), adding that he respects Huliak's nomination for the post of Tourism and Sport Minister and that he hopes that Parliament will focus on electing a new House chair next week. "Today, we have a de jure majority of 77 members in Parliament. I believe that this reflects what the premier announced and responds to the efforts of the three political party leaders - Smer-SD's Robert Fico, SNS's [the Slovak National Party] Andrej Danko and myself as the leader of Voice - to stabilise the situation within the government coalition, to stop focusing on ourselves, and to start working for people again," he said. Sutaj Estok respects Huliak's nomination to head the Tourism and Sports Ministry. He also declared that he'll do everything he can to ensure that the election of the House chair takes place as soon as possible. He reiterated that Voice-SD's nominee for this position is Richard Rasi. "I would be pleased if Parliament convenes next Tuesday for a special session that would address this issue," he stated. He would consider the election of the House chair to be a symbol that the coalition has been stabilised. lin/df
