President Pellegrini Receives Rudolf Huliak at Presidential Palace

Bratislava, March 3 (TASR) - President Peter Pellegrini received MP Rudolf Huliak (Independent) at the Presidential Palace on Monday after Premier Robert Fico (Smer-SD) nominated him for the post of Tourism and Sport Minister. Last week, Fico submitted a proposal to the president to dismiss Tourism and Sport Minister Dusan Keketi (a Slovak National Party/SNS nominee) and replace him with the Independent MP Huliak (a former SNS member). The head of state then announced that Huliak would be invited to the Presidential Palace for face-to-face talks. The Tourism and Sport Ministry was transferred from the coalition SNS party to Smer-SD following an amendment to the coalition agreement that was made in response to the altered composition of Parliament. lin/df
