Bratislava, March 5 (TASR) - New Tourism and Sport Minister Rudolf Huliak (a Smer-SD nominee, [former SNS caucus member]) needn't worry, as the Slovak National Party (SNS) will support him in proposed legislative changes, SNS leader Andrej Danko stated at a press conference on Wednesday. "I'm able to detach myself after all these years in politics, and I have been in politics for 20 years," he said, while stressing that the previous minister, Dusan Keketi, did a lot in his post. He supported Keketi in relation to his nomination for the post of vice-governor of the central bank. In relation to the coalition crisis, Danko stated that it's important that none of the 79 MPs have expressed a lack of trust in Premier Robert Fico (Smer-SD). He believes that the current number of 75 coalition MPs isn't an issue and is just a "technicality." Furthermore, he said that Miroslav Radacovsky, the substitute for Rudolf Huliak in Parliament, is aligned with the coalition. The SNS leader also stressed that the party has done everything it could. Now, it's up to Fico to reach an agreement with the MPs around Samuel Migal (Independent [former Voice-SD caucus members]). Danko announced that SNS will initiate a change in electoral legislation. He believes that parties entering Parliament after an election should have more influence over their MPs. President Peter Pellegrini appointed Rudolf Huliak as Tourism and Sport Minister on Wednesday morning. At the same time, he dismissed Dusan Keketi (a Slovak National Party/SNS nominee) from this post. The personnel change occurred in response to the situation in the governing coalition and to the altered composition of powers in Parliament. lin/df
