Police: Friday Protest Gatherings Peaceful

Bratislava, March 7 (TASR) - Friday's public protests in the Bratislava region, including the one on the Freedom Square in Bratislava had a peaceful course, without any public disturbances, the police reported on its social network on the same day. "The public gatherings have completed their course without any disturbances," stated the police, which monitored several of them. On Friday, protest gatherings 'Slovakia is Europe' were held in more than 40 Slovaks towns and cities as well as abroad, with the largest held in Bratislava. The next round of protests is planned two weeks later. mf
