Police Catches Man Driving Electric Scooter Drunk

Kosice, March 18 (TASR) - Even riding an electric scooter under influence is a misdemeanor and can have serious consequences, Kosice police warned in its Tuesday post about catching a drunk man on an electric scooter. "During a night shift, a police patrol in Kosice noticed a person on an electric scooter, riding in the middle of the road. After stopping him and making him submit to a breathalyser, it turned out the driver was drunk," reads the post, detailing that the man had 0.77 per mille of alcohol on his breath. The police prevented the driver from continuing his ride, with the matter being forwarded to a relevant traffic services inspectorate. mf
