Orange Experiences Data Service Outage in Western Slovakia, Issue Resolved

Bratislava, March 24 (TASR) - Mobile operator Orange experienced a data service outage on Monday morning that affected some customers, primarily in western Slovakia, but services should now be fully restored, with the operator advising a device restart if necessary.
"We've registered an outage of mobile data services that affected some customers, especially in western Slovakia. The cause was identified as an issue with the system that controls mobile data usage for our customers. Our teams immediately began working on a solution, and services should already be restored. Restarting your device could help," the company told TASR, while apologising for the problems.
Orange is the largest mobile operator in Slovakia, focusing on providing comprehensive digital services for households and businesses. As of December 31, 2023, Orange had 2.389 million mobile network customers and 323,000 fixed internet customers.
