Slovak Women's Association 'Busy Bees in Lug' Celebrates Ten Years of Activity

Lug, March 24 (TASR) - Slovak Women's Association 'Busy Bees in Lug' recently celebrated its tenth anniversary, with one of its goals being to contribute towards preserving Slovak culture and traditions in the village of Lug near Novi Sad, in Serbia, TASR has learnt from its special correspondent.
On the occasion of the tenth anniversary, the association has organised an exhibition and a cultural programme.
Association chairwoman Natasa Rojkova emphasised the significance of the decade-long work in her speech. "Everyone looks forward to coming to Lug. This time, we had a good reason – the ten years during which our association has been active," Rojkova told TASR.
On the occasion of the tenth anniversary celebration, the group has organised an exhibition of wall hangings with traditional folk embroidery motifs. At the same time, Rojkova confirmed for TASR that the women's association plans to publish a book about its activities to mark the tenth anniversary of its founding.
