Bratislava, March 26 (TASR) - Three modern sports venues are likely to be built in Slovakia, Minister of Tourism and Sports Rudolf Huliak (Independent) declared after a session of the Government on Wednesday.
"The Prime Minister promised me personally that we'll find resources throughout the year to identify three regional locations in Slovakia, where three modern sports venues for athletics will be built," said Huliak.
Huliak pointed out that Slovak athletes lack adequate training conditions in Slovakia. "Our athletes, representing us in the Olympics or other international competitions, world championships or European championships, must train in Hungary or train in Prague," he warned.
