President Glad Slovakia Has Three Duly Elected Top Constitutional Officials

Bratislava, March 26 (TASR) - I welcome the fact that Slovakia has once again three duly elected most senior constitutional officials, President Peter Pellegrini posted on a social network on Wednesday in response to the election of Richard Rasi (Voice-SD) as the House chair. "I congratulate the newly elected Parliamentary Chair Richard Rasi," wrote the head of state, adding that he's looking forward to mutual cooperation for the benefit of all people in Slovakia. On Wednesday evening, 79 coalition MPs elected Rasi as the new head of Parliament. The post has been vacant since April 2024, when the then head of Parliament Peter Pellegrini won the presidential election. House Vice-chair Peter Ziga (Voice-SD) was entrusted with the management of Parliament in the interim. am
