Kosice: Driver Goes 75 km/h Past Speed Limit in Urban Zone

Kosice, March 31 (TASR) - A speeding driver was caught, driving his Volkswagen Passat 75 km/h past the speed limit in the Kosice borough of Polov, Kosice regional police reported in his social media post on Monday. "The driver paid a fine of €800 with a card on the spot," adds the post. The posted speed limit for the section is 60 km/h, whereas the driver went 135 km/h. "Such a reckless behavior put not only his life in danger, but also those of other road traffic participants," stated the police. mf
