Prague, March 31 (TASR-correspondent) - There are no confirmed cases or suspected cases of foot-and-mouth disease in the Czech Republic, however, due to the proximity of the outbreak to Slovakia, the Czech Republic is again tightening its preventive measures, Czech Agriculture Minister Marek Vyborny told a press conference on Monday. Even animal by-products won't be allowed to be imported from Slovakia, Hungary, Lower Austria and Burgenland. The minister also announced that milk will probably be tested on farms in South Moravian region as of Tuesday. Vyborny said that he had spoken on the phone with his Slovak counterpart Richard Takac for about 15 minutes on Monday and thus had an update from the extraordinary meeting of the Slovak government. am
