Bratislava, April 2 (TASR) - At its regular session on Wednesday, the Cabinet will deal with a proposal to increase spending on public universities by over €3 million. The money should be used to fulfil the tasks of the National Strategy Action Plan through public universities. The step is the result of an agreement between the Government Office and the Education Ministry. The ministers are also due to choose recipients of money from the recovery plan for the reconstruction of four buildings under the remit of the Government Office and the President's Office. The total sum of investments for the reconstructions amounts to over €19.7 million (including VAT). The government should also deal with a proposal to update the integrated national energy and climate plan for 2021-2030. A total of 200 projects aimed at strengthening relations with Slovaks living abroad should be supported from Slovakia's Recovery and Resilience Plan, according to the informative document due to be discussed by the government. The meeting of this milestone should be reported to the European Commission as part of the ninth payment application. NGOs have also been included among the eligible applicants. ko
