Kosice, April 5 (TASR) - Since the last Sunday in March the summer flight schedule has been in operation at Kosice Airport, bringing more flights to Zurich and Zadar as well as hundreds of charter flights, TASR has been told by airport spokesman Juraj Toth. "This year, for the first time, we have a truly summer destination on offer right at the start of the summer flight schedule, thanks to our partners from Ryanair, who are launching the popular route to Zadar, Croatia two months earlier and with significantly more capacity than last year," said Kosice Airport CEO Thomas Dworschak. During the months of April and September the route will operate twice a week, with three flights per week in May and four in June, July and August. Another new feature is an increase in frequency for the Kosice-Zurich route, with a fourth flight added to the original three weekly ones. Flights to Warsaw, Vienna, London, Prague, Liverpool and Dublin are also being operated several times a week by various airlines as part of the summer flight schedule. According to Toth, more than 850 charter flights to 20 destinations in countries including Albania, Turkey, Bulgaria, Greece, Croatia, Montenegro, Egypt, Spain, Italy, Tunisia and Cyprus are scheduled for the summer holiday season. am/df
