Rome, April 5 (TASR) - The Slovak National Pilgrimage to Rome on the occasion of the Jubilee Year 2025 is a strong spiritual and social moment for the entire Slovak nation, Culture Minister Martina Simkovicova (a Slovak National Party/SNS nominee), who took part in the pilgrimage as part of President Peter Pellegrini's delegation, stressed on a social network on Saturday. The minister particularly praised Pope Francis' message addressed to the Slovak nation. "It was an exceptional expression of respect, which we see as an affirmation of the importance of our faith, traditions and unity," said Simkovicova. "A nation that doesn't forget its roots has the strength to face the challenges of our time," she added. am
