Bratislava, April 8 (TASR) - The 'Slovakia' party has called on Premier Robert Fico (Smer-SD) and Transport Minister Jozef Raz (a Smer-SD nominee) to dismiss State-supported Rental Housing Agency (ASPNB) director Eva Lisova. According to media reports, Lisova was in the past convicted in two cases related to illegal real-estate deals, MPs Michal Sipos and Veronika Remisova (both 'Slovakia', For the People, Christian Union/KU) told a news conference on Tuesday. "We're calling on Robert Fico, we're also calling on minister Raz, to immediately dismiss this nominee who has no business being there," said Sipos. He added that Lisova was convicted of committing real-estate fraud. "The media has looked into the person who runs this agency and found out that Eva Lisova was previously convicted of committing fraud involving real estate, which is what the agency is currently dealing with," said Sipos. Remisova noted that housing is a problem in Slovakia. According to her, young families have no where to live, people are failing to repay their mortgages and, according to EU statistics, Slovaks spend among the largest amounts on housing in the entire EU. ko/df
