Slovak President Welcomes Indian Head of State to Bratislava

Bratislava, April 9 (TASR) - Slovak President Peter Pellegrini welcomed Indian President Droupadi Murmu to Bratislava on Wednesday. The two presidents are scheduled to hold talks and exchange memorandums.
The Indian president will also meet House Chair Richard Rasi (Voice-SD) and Premier Robert Fico (Smer-SD) on Wednesday. In the afternoon, she will lay a wreath at the Freedom Gate memorial in Bratislava's borough of Devin.
On Thursday (April 10), the presidents will jointly open the Slovak-Indian business forum. At the same time, Murmu will be awarded the honorary academic title of Doctor Honoris Causa by the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra.
The Indian head of state will visit the Jaguar Land-Rover plant in Nitra later on Thursday. She will also plant a tree together with Pellegrini in a Nitra park.
