Bratislava, April 10 (TASR) - Health Minister Kamil Sasko (Voice-SD) has full confidence in professional institutions of the state and stands firmly on the side of medicine based on verified scientific facts and research from reputable Slovak authorities, the Health Ministry press department declared on Thursday.
The Health Ministry stated this in response to comments made by Government Proxy for Investigation into COVID-19 Pandemic Management Peter Kotlar.
Based on the government's decision, Sasko is establishing an expert working group consisting of representatives of the Public Health Authority (UVZ), the Office for Supervision of Health Care, the National Health Information Centre, the State Institute for Drug Control and the Slovak Academy of Sciences. "This group will draft an expert opinion on the report of the Government Proxy for Investigation into COVID-19 Pandemic Management," the ministry stated.
Sasko underlined that Slovakia is and will remain a WHO member. In this organisation, the ministry will always act in a sovereign manner with respect to Slovakia's national interests, but it will also comply with the basic principles of the WHO, which include respect for facts and scientifically verified knowledge.
Earlier on Thursday, Kotlar called on the coalition and Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD) to end vaccination with mRNA vaccines based on nanotechnology. He reiterated that his findings indicate that all tested vaccine batches are capable of altering human DNA, which could lead to the development of several serious diseases.
