SNS's Danko Believes That Premier Fico Should Take Stronger Control of Power

Bratislava, April 13 (TASR) - Premier Robert Fico (Smer-SD) should take firmer grip on power, coalition Slovak National Party (SNS) leader Andrej Danko stated on Sunday, partially in response to opposition 'Slovakia' party leader Igor Matovic's remark that he hasn't been questioned by police overt the pandemic management since Fico's government took office. "I'm not saying this to wish anyone harm. I'm saying it because Robert Fico seems to forget what happened in 2020. If he says he has no power, he's the premier today. If things continue this way, it will end the same as it did in 2020. Many of you criticise me for not staying quiet, but I firmly believe Fico should take better control of power. If things go on like this, we won§t be able to hold on to power," Danko remarked. lin
