Kosice/Bratislava, April 14 (TASR) - I condemn any and all killing, stated Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD) on Monday in response to Russia's missile strike on the Ukrainian city of Sumy on Sunday.
"I condemn killing, I condemn all killing. I have always done so and will continue to do so, but I don't have enough information right now to make any specific statements," said Fico at a briefing in Kosice.
According to the local Ukrainian authorities, at least 34 people, including two children, were killed in a Russian missile strike on the northern Ukrainian city of Sumy on Sunday morning. More than 100 others were injured. Two ballistic missiles hit the city centre as many civilians were gathering in the streets on Palm Sunday.
