Infostat: Results of Political Surveys Stay Only at Our Disposal

Bratislava, April 14 (TASR) - The Institute of Informatics and Statistics (Infostat) denies any notion that the results of political surveys are available to anyone other than the institution itself, as neither the Statistics Office, which is Infostat’s founding body, nor any political party has access to them, head of Infostat’s Center for Social Research (CSV) Mario Dobrovodsky declared at a press conference on Monday.
Dobrovodsky underlined that transparency and objectivity are the core guiding principles of the institution when conducting any survey.
“Our ambition is to reflect developments in social events and respond to what is happening on the political scene. So these matters did not arise deliberately or with a specific agenda — they were a reflection of the unfolding situation,” said Dobrovodsky, adding that the questions for the surveys on current political events were created by the CSV team of analysts.
