Prime Minister Fico to Depart for Official Visit to Croatia on Wednesday

Bratislava, April 15 (TASR) - Premier Robert Fico (Smer-SD) is set to depart for Croatia on Wednesday, April 16, for an official visit, during which he will meet Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, president Zoran Milanovic and Speaker of the Croatian Parliament Gordan Jandrokovic, TASR has learnt from the Government Office's communications department on Tuesday. "They will discuss deepening bilateral cooperation, particularly in the economic sphere, as well as potential collaboration in the energy sector and providing energy security for Slovakia," the Government Office announced, adding that the meeting between the Slovak and Croatian prime ministers will also cover current issues in European politics, illegal migration and the European prospects of Western Balkan countries. lin/df
