Sutaj Estok Expects Decision on New Hospital's Location Next Week

Bratislava, April 24 (TASR) - Leader of the Voice-SD party and Interior Minister Matus Sutaj Estok believes that he and Health Minister Kamil Sasko (Voice-SD) will announce the final decision on the location for constructing the new national university hospital in Bratislava next week. Sutaj Estok stated this in response to a journalist's question at a press conference on Thursday. "I'm pleased that it will be a Voice minister, Kamil Sasko, who will finally, after decades of struggles with the issue of a top-tier hospital in Bratislava, come forward with a solution. But he won't come with a solution on paper alone, he'll also present a concrete plan to ensure that this hospital starts being built in a very short time," added Sutaj Estok, noting that the preparatory work is expected to begin this year. The Health Ministry has confirmed for TASR that it will announce the location of the new hospital in the near future. Last week, the Health Minister claimed that a decision on the final location of the new national university hospital in Bratislava is expected this month. Originally, the location was planned to be the Razsochy area of Bratislava, but the government later approved construction in the Bratislava borough of Ruzinov. mf/df
